Minebea Group was founded in 1951 in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. The business scope of the group company includes bearings, electronic devices, mechanical parts, conveyors and special machinery parts. Its main products are miniature and small bearings, miniature precision motors, fan motor bearings and more than 2,000 varieties. It is the world's largest miniature bearing manufacturer.

Since the group company officially started its production operations outside Japan in Singapore in 1973, it has continuously expanded its production bases centered on Asia. Today, after 60 years of business establishment, the group company has developed into a research and development, production, sales, and after-sales service with 32 production bases, 39 sales bases, and 17 R&D bases in 18 countries around the world. The total number of employees has reached 55,000. An integrated precision parts multinational group company.

The group has the world's market share ranking first in the fields of miniature ball bearings with an outer diameter of 22 mm or less, rod ends and joint bearings in aircraft, and is a leader in these fields. In addition, the permanent magnet motors, axial fan motors, stepping motors and other small and micro motors, measuring devices, LED backlights and other high-precision and high-quality precision parts and components in the hard disk drives produced by the group are sold all over the world.

NMB Bearing Company's business in China

Minebea Group established Shanghai Minebea Precision Electromechanical Co., Ltd. in 1994 by the beautiful Dianshan Lake in Qingpu District, Shanghai. The company's two factories are called Shanghai Factory and Xicen Factory. Shanghai Minebea's main products include miniature, small-diameter ball bearings, axial fan motors, etc. The Shanghai plant is the tenth ball bearing plant set up by Minebea Group in the world, and it is also the group's largest one-stop production plant for miniature and small-diameter ball bearings. In addition to the production of axial fan motors, the Xicen plant has increased the production of measuring instruments and other products since 2001. Up to now, Shanghai Minebea has developed into a Japanese company with approximately 5,100 employees.

Minebea Group invested in the establishment of Shanghai Shunding Technology Co., Ltd., which produces computer keyboards, films and other products in 2003. In 2010, it acquired Zhuhai Minebea Precision Motor Co., Ltd., which produces DC brush motors, vibration motors, and other products. Dongguan City First Precision Industry Mould Co., Ltd., a metal mold company, invested in Minebea Electronic Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. to produce LED backlight panels in 2011.

In addition to the above-mentioned production bases, Minebea Group has successively opened sales bases in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong (established offices in 1983) since 2002. In 2010, it opened sales bases in Dalian, Beijing, and Wuhu, and in 2011 in Chengdu, Wuhan, and Xi’an. Up to now, a sales team composed of about 200 people has provided meticulous services to customers.

NMB miniature and small ball bearings

NMB miniature ball bearings are machined parts composed of outer rings, inner rings, rolling elements, rolling element retainers, seals (dust cover) and spring rings.
